Jesus' Little Lambs
Families are important and we want to support all those faithful parents who are raising their children for the Lord during difficult times.
Our children's education program includes Sunday School during the school year. Children join us for the early part of the worship service and are then dismissed following the Children's Message. Children return to their families after the sermon, and in time to join their families during Holy Communion.
We also have several special family events during the year including our School's Out Carnival in June. See details below.

Christian Education isn't only for children. God's family of all ages can benefit from regular instruction in the Word of God. Come and join with others in this journey of faith through the Bible. New participants are always welcome at any of our education programs and you need not be a member of our congregation.
CHILDREN'S EDUCATION
During the school year (September-June) children are dismissed just prior to the sermon for Children's Church with an age-appropriate Bible lesson while their parents listen to Pastor's message. The children return to their families in time for communion. We also have Busy Bags with quiet toys for the young children as well as a Parents' Room with one way glass if parents need a quiet place to take their little ones. During the summer months, children worship in church with their families, but we have an extended Children's Message along with crafts and story pages for the children to enjoy during the sermon time.
Worship in person or online at 10:00 am Sundays The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated at each Sunday worship service God gathers us together in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, the name into which we were baptized. He gathers us to receive His gifts—Himself, His name, His flesh and blood Son, His Word of pardon and peace, His life, His grace and Spirit. In the Divine Service He distributes these gifts to us. Here we receive the forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation Christ won for us on the cross. God calls and gathers us into His holy Christian church where we have communion with Him and all His saints in heaven and on earth. Heaven and earth intersect in the Divine Service. Dead but now alive? No way!
Those who believe in and follow the man named Jesus of Nazareth have, since the beginning of April, been celebrating the pinnacle of his 33 years of life. That pinnacle was his death upon a Roman cross and three days later, just as he said he would, he rose from the dead.
Most in the world say "dream on" and it might very well look as such if it were only his followers and eye witnesses who claimed these events. But such is not the case and nor has it been for the past 2000 yrs.
Along with those who loved him were those who hated him and hatched a plan to hand him over to the Roman governor to be crucified. We learn what happened to him not only from his eye witness followers who wrote these accounts for all in the Bible, but also from his enemies who wrote of his death and also of the fact that he was seen alive by many after his coming back to life. And it gets even more interesting because Roman historians also wrote of the man named Jesus of Nazareth having been ...
Blessed to Serve
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We have only a small paid staff, relying instead on our many members who serve the Lord by serving our church and our community. From time to time we have vacancies in these important roles. For information about how you can bless others through our ministry please contact the church office at [email protected] or 604-792-9577.
Feeling Techy? ... We could use your tech skills in our media program. We are looking for someone to join the team of Media Shout presenters, operating the system that projects the worship service onto the screen in the sanctuary.
We also need at least one more person to operate our worship streaming system. This involves operating the cameras and the broadcast console during the worship service.
If you would like to learn more about these positions, please contact the church office.

Our seniors meet once a month, on the second Friday, for a potluck lunch, maybe some fun and games ... and a time of prayer and devotion. The time is 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. For our June gathering we are heading into God's great outdoors for a picnic at beautiful Gwynne Vaughn Park. Everyone welcome. Please bring something to share for the potluck lunch, and of course, invite your friends. The park is at the corner of Hope River Rd and Williams St. The parking lot entrance is on Williams St. We are not checking ID at the door, so everyone is welcome to join in this time of fellowship with those who have experienced life with all its ups and down.
