Jesus' Little Lambs
Families are important and we want to support all those faithful parents who are raising their children for the Lord during difficult times.
Our children's education program includes Sunday School during the school year. Children join us for the early part of the worship service and are then dismissed following the Children's Message. Children return to their families after the sermon, and in time to join their families during Holy Communion.
We also have several special family events during the year including our School's Out Carnival in June. See details below.

Worship in person or online at 10:00 am Sundays The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated at each Sunday worship service God gathers us together in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, the name into which we were baptized. He gathers us to receive His gifts—Himself, His name, His flesh and blood Son, His Word of pardon and peace, His life, His grace and Spirit. In the Divine Service He distributes these gifts to us. Here we receive the forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation Christ won for us on the cross. God calls and gathers us into His holy Christian church where we have communion with Him and all His saints in heaven and on earth. Heaven and earth intersect in the Divine Service. We respond to God's Blessings with acts of kindness to bless others
Seeking Ways to Bless our Neighbors
We want to praise God His many blessings by seeking out opportunities to bless others in His name. We partner with local relief agencies such as the Chilliwack Community Cupboard and Cyrus Center youth shelter and outreach program. We are currently collecting non-perishable food, good used clothes and even school supplies and toys for the Chilliwack Community Cupboard, a grassroots organization which supports needy families with children in the Chilliwack area. Children's Education and Feeding Program - Nicaragua
One of our ongoing international mission projects has been to support the child feeding and education program in Nicaragua, which is operated by Concordia Lutheran Mission Society, the mission auxiliary of Lutheran Church-Canada. Most of the Lutheran Churches in Nicaragua are in impoverished rural communities. Through the funding of the feeding program in those congregations, ...
Dead but now alive? No way!
Those who believe in and follow the man named Jesus of Nazareth have, since the beginning of April, been celebrating the pinnacle of his 33 years of life. That pinnacle was his death upon a Roman cross and three days later, just as he said he would, he rose from the dead.
Most in the world say "dream on" and it might very well look as such if it were only his followers and eye witnesses who claimed these events. But such is not the case and nor has it been for the past 2000 yrs.
Along with those who loved him were those who hated him and hatched a plan to hand him over to the Roman governor to be crucified. We learn what happened to him not only from his eye witness followers who wrote these accounts for all in the Bible, but also from his enemies who wrote of his death and also of the fact that he was seen alive by many after his coming back to life. And it gets even more interesting because Roman historians also wrote of the man named Jesus of Nazareth having been ...
